Can I use these lights to add fog lights to a Tesla that does not have them?

Do not assume a replacement lamp is a complete retrofit kit. Adding fog lights may require wiring, mounting hardware and vehicle configuration support. Confirm those requirements before purchasing lamps for a vehicle without factory fog lights.

How do I choose the correct side, and do I need to replace both?

Left and right are identified while seated in the vehicle facing forward. You can replace only the damaged side if the other lamp works properly. Compare its appearance and specifications with the existing lamp, and check whether the listing includes one light or two.

Will replacing the lamps fix both fog lights not working?

Not necessarily. Check the lighting settings and have the power supply and connectors checked before buying replacement lamps. If both lights stopped working together, replacing the assemblies may not resolve a shared wiring or control issue.
