Does “front driver rear” mean the liner fits the rear wheel?

That wording can describe the rear section of the front driver-side wheel well, rather than the rear wheel. Confirm the position using the product diagram and OE number before ordering. A section should not be assumed to replace the complete wheel well liner.

Can I choose an E-Class fender liner using only the model and year?

Body style matters too. This collection lists E350 coupe and convertible applications separately from sedan and wagon applications. Match the body style, required side and OE reference; an E350 liner for the same year is not automatically interchangeable.

Will a new liner fix rubbing or a loose panel, and are fasteners included?

Replacing a damaged liner may help, but broken mounting tabs, missing clips or a displaced bumper can leave the new panel loose. Inspect those attachment points first. Check the package contents for clips and screws, since the liner alone does not confirm that mounting hardware is included.
